  • In the nonlibre kernel

  • Yes bottles flatpak also pulls in 32bit dependencies

  • Does anyone know how to "fly" with double space?

    And how to fly faster?

These were big issues I had with Mineclone2 or how it is now called

  • Thanks :) it is a bit confusing

Irrlicht is discontinued but I think it is under a different name now

  • Fuck adobe, this has nothing to do with PDF.

You can install the reader in a VM and copy the files to a WINE instance.

The youtuber mattscreative does that for photoshop, affinity and more. Photoshop is paid, so acrobat should absolutely work.

He uses KDE Plasma on Fedora afaik.

  • Minetest gets scary when you look at the code and see that the engine they use is basically abandoned and will never get Wayland support. Afaik?

  • The question mark made me think it was a question :)

The other commenter started a strange argument on what is what.

  • Gotta try cockpit with the VM! It pulls in a tooon of dependencies, but may be worth it.

  • Virt-manager

  • White and Pink noise where shown to increase concentration in ADHD people

Of course, I have this tab in Mull lying around for 3 weeks and in one week it will be auto-deleted!

    Gotta get some white noise!

  • Soda is the default Runtime, Proton (and outside of steam you should use Proton-GE) is the Steam one with way more compatibility for Games

  • Yes Proton is different from Soda, but how is "technically Soda" actually what Bottles runs? I thought bottles runs WINE, which runs Soda as the runtime

  • Thanks a lot! The Omnia has a ton of pins inside, I will check if some can provide power.

It has a small amount of RAM, so running a web server, NAS or torrent server would be possible. That would be great with like a 4TB SATA SSD.

  • Interesting, thanks!

Could you elaborate on the power supply? I found such an adapter:

With a small 7-pin SATA cable, do SSDs need additional power?

The power supply is a typical laptop barrel jack with converter, so powering the SSD wouldnt be a good option
