Well, hope they won't change the rules around that if it does still exist by the time you retire. Though generally such things aren't done retroactively I believe. Once you've earned it, you've earned it. Even if rules change for future folks. At least in sane countries, but of course we're talking about the US...

What happens to your 401k and IRA if you've moved abroad and renounce your citizenship? Will it ever be paid out?

Not an American so I honestly don't know.

I mean you could buy a lightly used Dacia maybe? Or a Fiat 500 maybe.

But if you want a decently comfy car, nothing luxury, but also not a basic model, 20-30k is minimum for lightly used. German cars depreciate quickly so they're your best bet in that price range. Toyotas and Volvos will actually be more expensive for same year, mileage, size.

50k km is still "need a loan" territory for most people. The absolute newest car I've owned was 144k km, 3 years old, and still cost near 30k.

Plus when it's like 2% + 6 months euribor for a lease you get to keep at the end, it starts looking hella more attractive.

Ah yeah I don't know anyone with under 8 which is why I'm trying to keep the 6 cores represented while I'm still using it. Keep the averages low so devs don't start optimizing everything for 12 or more cores lol

Sony and Philips are the top tier lately as far as I know. LG has been doing weird things and Samsung hasn't actually been good on the high-end for a long time. Or maybe it's coming back now with the QD-OLED displays? Because the original "QLED" absolutely felt like deceptive marketing, as "QLED" looks so similar to "OLED". Then there's the whole ads thing on Samsung. Idk if LG does this.

So chances are, you made a pretty good choice. Sony's a reliable company generally.
