There are usually many layers before your application actually gets to someone who understands the job and can actually evaluate how valuable you are to the role. There are an insane number of applications that are just gone before someone useful can actually read it.
I know personally I would never have gotten my last 3 jobs were it not for networking and knowing people.
Networking really is the way forward. I understand for some people that socialising is insanely difficult, but knowing the right people can get you jobs that you aren't even qualified for.
I interpreted it as you implying that if shit hits the fan, her parents have to pick up the pieces. You're right though, parents should be there with support, not to shame their children.
I'm with you with everything except for the regret part. Some decisions have consequences that you can't just get over. Life ruining consequences that follow you for the rest of your life. This probably isn't it, but as an adult you need to take responsibility for making those decisions without expecting daddy and mommy to always pull you out.
I didn't spend as much time as I wanted to at the indie section, but the game where you roll around as a roly poly was insanely fun. And there were a bunch of really fun vr games.
Kill knight was also a ton of fun but I'm biased because it was made at the studio I work at 😅.
Psn requirement sucks, but it is a sequel to a game not a spin off. It's a full length story, new and refreshed mechanics and upgraded engine etc. I don't see how this is worth less than the first game.
Pseudoregalia. Indie game with ridiculous movement tech. Very fun!
