I'll stop saying it the minute people stop saying we're destroying the planet.

The people that still care about ASOIAF know that George doesn't need an excuse to stagnate progress on new books. He could have all the time in the world and he's still just throw all his work into the garbage and start over.

He literally does. He's murdering women and twins by forcing unviable pregnancies to be carried to term.

The planet will be fine. It's us that should be worried.

Yeah and then they'll approach you while you're filming their colleague murdering a suspect. They'll demand you turn off the camera and follow you around so they can arrest you for being too close, then "accidentally" smash your phone.

They don't deserve that kind of power.

They will probably mostly survive. But then they'll realise that all productive and smart people are dead and their money is worthless in the new world.

ArXiv papers are never peer reviewed.

This paper is pretty unbelievable to me in the literal sense. From a quick glance:

First of all they couldn't even bother to check for simple spelling mistakes. Second, all they're doing is asking whether a number is prime or not and then extrapolating the results to be representative of solving math problems.

But most importantly I don't believe for a second that the same model with a few adjustments over a 3 month period would completely flip performance on any representative task. I suspect there's something seriously wrong with how they collect/evaluate the answers.

And finally, according to their own results, GPT3.5 did significantly better at the second evaluation. So this title is a blatant misrepresentation.

Also the study isn't peer-reviewed.

No actually it's you standing on the safe sideline screaming from the top of your lungs that doctors should be throwing their lives away and go to prison for life to help a single patient that the state has decided to murder.

If they did that then all the good doctors would be in prison after a week. Not a great plan. And I bet you'd be singing a different tune if it was your life on the line.

Can't speak for Vegas, that's on an entirely different continent. But it helped that there were 5 of us.

1. Yeah how nice for you. Unfortunately, in the real world, you can't just say "give me the answer without giving me the answer" since that request is devoid of logic and reason.
2. Russia has been hostile towards the West in ways that transcend direct military conflict as long as it exists.

I mean it has it's uses. You can consider it as a tower made up building blocks. We can write things into the blocks as we build the tower, and every block is inspected by people worldwide to make sure no one's messing with it's contents and they can't be changed after the block has been placed.
