I guess I just preferred VSCode for coding? Every time I've tried to use Emacs for my coding workflows I've given up, I think I'm just used to VSCode in that respect. It is weird, I know.
I have nothing but a gut feeling to back this up, but isn't this oh so convenient for russia? Now the very powerful USA Israel lobby will be asking for as much aid as possible.
I wouldn't be surprised if russia was behind this and other escalations.
I think I'd rather see an 8 part series instead, but I'm happy we're getting a movie. I just hope that it will be as good as The Martian was.
They'll probably skip over all the scientific discoveries that happen before the mission to keep things simpler, and I would bet money they change the ending.
She was very skeptical about it, but the results won her over. If you haven't tried it, and can afford it then I highly recommend it. (Around $60/60 capsules)
Oh it's a part of Connect on Android, I only just realized, sorry about that :(
I went to programming.dev in Firefox and tried it there but no tagging option. I honestly thought it was part of Lemmy until just now, and I'd been touting that feature when I talked about Lemmy with friend and folks.
Venkman carries thorazine around with him. Just in case.
It's grimly amusing to watch this movie now vs 4 decades ago. Venkman in the 80s is a lovable rogue. Venkman seen through the lens of 2023 is an abusive asshole who might drug women. He uses his position of power to lie his way into getting "dinner" with a young woman.
How much of that is Murray rather than the character?
It's an interesting exercise to watch movies from back then to see what today is shocking behaviour. Anyone have any movies they used to love but now are embarrassed by?
I still have trouble hearing Jack White in the second vocalist. Something about the accent or cadence maybe?
