  • Well, that ‘perfectly fine’ date picker has some usability issues, like being way too small to enter dates comfortably, and missing features like the inability to highlight dates, and you can even enter invalid dates like September 31.

  • Each month I lean more towards the notion that FF devs are retarded. Why do you have to close the browser to clear the cookies rather than having a hard refresh do that?

  • I can live with that. The super-hard blowers get my hands dry in 10–20 seconds. The warm-air whistlers… not at all, given my patience.

  • The adolescent brain sure is marvelous.

  • The blow-dryers are way better! They blast all the germs right into the air for everybody to enjoy, even those who wipe their hands on their pants.

  • I have no clue how this could be the case, but the issue really is gone in 134.0.2.

  • I’m 95% sure it’s a combination of Linux + Firefox + uBlock Origin and YouTube is trying to make me get rid of all three of those. Not gonna happen.

I mean, I could try disabling uBlock Origin, but either way I don’t get to see content, so what’s the point? 🥲

  • This is an awesome catch-up mechanic. If you’re too good and capture too many of your opponent’s pieces, you get progressively drunker and thus worse in the game.

This leads to a whole new strategy: Winning the game while taking as few pieces as possible.

  • Autosave is an admission by the dev that they failed to program properly.

Also, I’d like 3 autosaves every 5 minutes.

  • A good UI has nothing to do with art. In fact, art leads to terrible UI.

  • The entire time I was reading this meme I thought something NSFW would come up.

  • It’s also nice that the injury from hitting someone with the heel of the hand isn’t as obvious as from hitting with the knuckles.

  • You forgot suspending the game and creating an image of the memory.

  • You don’t get a “vroom” from reading a car manual, either.

  • At least they have to ask now instead of delivering them right into your rectum.

  • I get why they did that. I’ve seen students go through the steps in the algorithm correctly and end up with the right answer, but without any clue what it meant. The answer sentence tells the teacher that the student understood why they applied the algorithm and what the answer meant.
