I think I’ll just switch to something more user-friendly again. When I installed Manjaro, I thought I liked tinkering. But since then I’ve started working and just want to get home to a functioning computer.
My package manager has 400+ updates, but I can’t install them because some packages are conflicting, and I don’t have the willpower to untangle that mess.
I use arch btw. I use the arch-derivative Manjaro, btw.
My old boss (at a sturtup with some ten ppl) loved to do this. When you’re done with your work, merge to master. Boss-man would then revert the commits if he didn’t like the result. Since the branches all were merged, no-one knew what was actually in prod. Fun times.
Seriously go out to a bar, a music festival, volunteer, hell get drunk
As a non-drinker I find it interesting that 2 out of these 3 things require the use of a drug. (Yes I know, you can order water at bars, but I doubt that was the point of that statement.)
How about letting her hurt herself (slightly)? If she’s old enough to understand you, she’s old enough to learn that people who tell her not to do something mean well.
I would like to see people educated how to argue without getting personal. And how to communicate that you aren’t in a mood to argue right now, because you’re angry and wouldn’t listen.
