It happens every election, frontrunner candidates often meet with many foreign leaders. They dont have any authority to set any policy, and talking isnt illegal.

Hes not setting US policy and doesnt officially represent us.

Theres a difference between having things already around that we still need that require fossil fuels, and continuing to create new things that will require them even further into the future. We can immediately stop producing new gas powered vehicles and building new fossil fuel power plants.

Its a built in feedback loop. Under capitalism, resources are distributed based on capital. But capital is a resource. So its naturally going to concentrate.
