  • Now this is some leopards ate my face

  • Whats different in our understanding within the solar system compared to outside? It's telescopes looking at light from far away.

  • EV battery production as it is currently practiced is terrible

Nah. Fossil fuel industry want people to think it is, and most people assume it is thinking there has to be a catch. Lithium "mining" is pretty low impact compared to traditional metal mining, and theres not that much lithium per battery anyway.

  • it's actually a pretty simple to figure out carbon footprint for gas powered cars. Gasoline is just a bunch of carbon atoms loosely linked together. You add heat, you add oxygen, and the carbon molecule bonds break in favor of bonding with oxygen to form carbon dioxide/monoxide, and release energy in the process. That's how combustion works. None of the carbon is destroyed in the process, all of the gasoline just gets converted into a gas; a greenhouse gas. Its why cars are the largest source of emissions in the US.

All of that is cut in an EV. With renewable energy sources there doesnt have to be any greenhouse emissions with EV's.

  • the only thing I've been getting from this shit show is Democrats teaming up with Republicans for anti-humanitarian efforts. They just get worse and worse.

  • All taxes. And thats not how laws work, you dont have tax bills pass for some neighborhoods but not others, the whole city has one tax bill.

  • Its a very messy game. I dont think there was ever a vision for what kind of game this was going to be, they just grabbed whatever was hype at the time and added it in. Throw in pokemon, throw in fortnite, throw in breath of the wild, throw in meme postable character creator. I guess its working out for em.

  • They keep skipping around whats even being proposed. They keep just calling it a border deal. Whats the deal? More border patrol agents? Building up Trump's wall? Halting visas? What kinda anti-human bullshit is congress "dealing" in?

  • The pictured neighborhood at least isnt that dense. Its still single family homes spaced apart. This whole density for revenue idea has always focused on things like multi story apartment complexes and packed together downtowns.

  • The cost to the city is the same

  • Ive seen NJB explaining density generating more revenue, but this is a bit of a different take. Higher income high density exists, and like in this image, lower density low income is a thing.

The cost to the city is the same but the poor block is worth 78% more and, subsequently, pays 78% more taxes to the city, than the affluent block.

Is really strange, i do not believe the pictured poor neighborhood pays more taxes than the pictured rich neighborhood. The dense downtown business area vs the wide open taco johns, sure, but not the residential comparison.

  • I didnt get any kind of explanation for this. Why is the pictured neighborhood worth so much? Are those homes being listed for more than the rich neighborhood homes? Are the residents earning more?

  • American Christianity is like a "vegan" cult that almost exclusively eats beef, but also harasses anyone that eats pork, or chicken, or that dont eat any meat as not being "vegan"

  • So does the 14th amendment just require accusations to deny candidacy?

  • So far he hasnt been convicted of any treason, or any other crime. Right now its entirely one party subjectively deciding to deny candidacy to the opposition party, as Russia and North Korea both do.

  • Its literally anti-democratic. I dunno what definitions of democracy anyone here is using, but its a system by which people decide via votes.

  • They trying to distract us. I aint looking at the single home owning boomers, its landlords and corporate real estate companies hoarding homes.

  • US voters are too dumb to be trusted with having democracy then.
