  • Thats a fun thought experiment at least. Is there any way for an AI to gain physical control on its own, within the bounds of software. It can make programs and interact with the web.

Some combination of bank hacking, 3D modeling, and ordering 3D prints delivered gets it close, but i dont know if it can seal the deal without human assistance. Some kind of assembly seems necessary, or at least powering on if it just orders a prebuilt robotic appendage.

  • As for honda yeah theyre bullshitting. But as for a car company being carbon neutral, where does it become impossible?

  • Biden giving weapons to israel:^

Biden giving weapons to Ukraine: uwu the republicans wont let me

  • Just protecting political stances that cant stand to any amount of scrutiny. Conservatives become more and more insular, needing thicker earplugs and louder megaphones.

  • Wild how russian collussion happens when you dont pursue russian collussion charges.

  • sadly this just isnt putting money where their mouth is. Pales in comparison to road investments, heck even freight rail investments from the infrastructure bill. It's a fraction of the funding for just California's one high speed rail line. This is gonna do even less than keep passenger rail from falling further behind freight rail and car transit. Get ready for more cars, more traffic, more emissions, less possibility of getting somewhere without a car.

  • Its money that was awarded in court rulings, its disingenuous to call it 'people who say they were framed'. Its people that were in fact framed.

  • One to pull them all

  • Its a good thing. But kind of weirdly specific to only appy to hedge funds. The problem is homes being hoarded as investment vehicles instead of places to live, thats gonna apply to any kind of investment firm.

  • Man justice is slow when it involves rich people facing consequences. Black man suspected of stealing a few hundred bucks, straight to jail awaiting trial. Rich guy steals hundreds of thousands of dollars? Yeah hes been found guilty but we'll wait til sometime next year to think about putting him in jail.

  • I still remember that time republicans spent 4th of July in Moscow.

  • What a line drawn over what kind of merger is a step too far. Food and agriculture? Medicine? Chemicals and science?

Nah, Call of Duty being console exclusive.

  • Before anyone gets excited, its not denying visas to all west bank settlers, just ones that have been committing violence.

  • My go to is always number of hurricanes that hit fabulous san francisco vs the conservative gulf states.

  • Its a bit of a cart before the horse thing. As fundamental as policy positions on things like economics, healthcare, education etc are, how the government is run and elected has to come first if you want any of that to happen. Like you can promote the most die hard environmentalist candidate, but because our system has lobbying and corporate financed elections, that poisons your efforts from the outset. You have to get rid of the lobbying first. I think our FPTP 2 party system is something that poisons any efforts on any political issue. Like i said id love to support someone with better political stances and voting reform, but i have to support voting reform first. And anyone that wants to outlaw lobbying too.

  • No its a vote for green party, and for ranked choice voting

  • Those fools! If only we had 1.3 guns per person to defend ourselves!

  • probly Jill Stein. Unless someone better that also supports ranked choice or proportional representation shows up.
