  • Yes, looks like it

  • This post will probably disappear soon anyway

  • Sorry to hear.

I saw your post yesterday, I knew it was going to get negative reactions.

Maybe you can try more positive communities like !casualconversation@lemm.ee ?

There is a selection of communities here: https://lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/20504960?scrollToComments=true

If that may help, someone told me I was an "energy vampire" today, so it seems like everyone will get a not so nice interaction every once in a while. I hope you'll stick around, but it not, all the best!

  • part of us growing as a platform.

    Unfortunately, we're not even growing

  • I would really appreciate a "meta" feed and a "hobby communities" feed

Also being able to have memes split from the rest

  • Let's get manual static user-defined multicommunities, and then let's see for algorithm managed ones

    https://piefed.social/ has "Topics" already

  • Seems like everyone just proved yesterday that a community could be migrated in a few hours if needed 😄

More seriously, you're correct, it will probably happen gradually with a few early adopters

  • I think if y’all want new mods then that’s fine, but I don’t think your beef is with the whole mod team. Lots of us agree that this should have been handled better and that there should have been more transparency. Some of them haven’t even been here for the past few days

Just wanted to chime in and say this was legitimately written by the entire mod team in a group google doc. This is not me using the royal we.

  • Your instance defederates from hexbear and grad already. You can choose to block ml in your account settings

  • Just found this from another thread

  • Your comment makes sense. To be honest as they stated that everyone one was involved in the redaction of the last communication it seemed just easier to ask for a complete uphold of the team.

  • They really aren't, 4k monthly active users out of 43k
