Okay, so… what does it really take to be a public intellectual? Is that a job? A college course? Is there some kind of paycheck? What exactly are the requirements for this, and did all 153 people meet that requirement? Was there a process? Some sort of vetting?

  • To me if they made a big deal about it, it’s because they weren’t actually making a big deal about it. Where are the metrics?

If I work for a company that has a DEI policy, and I think my manager fired me because they don’t like something about me that falls into that category, there’s not much recourse for that because there is a DEI policy in place so obviously it was my “job performance.”

  • Only if people actually lower their prices. If big corporations keep snagging up the good houses then people who have crappy houses will think they can still keep their prices high. This is you get an $800,000 two bedroom house in a bad neighborhood without even so much as a renovated kitchen.
