Hamas will reject anything that helps the Palestinians as they have previously.

They also tried to straight up genocide Israel two more times afterwards too.

No it's not. So many Hamas apologists refute that Hamas uses rape and torture as a tool. Strong articles with solid evidence like this put a lie to their propaganda.

Obvious answer is they wanted Israel to invade Gaza.

They had no significant chance of beating them so why push for an invasion?

Propaganda, division and pulling other arab countries into a larger war.

Basically they Hamas wanted their own people to suffer....crazy

Hamas should surrender. They're not winning this but they are getting a lot of Palestinians killed.

Watch the south park special that perfectly summarised why movies are declining. Pandering means watered down no risk projects that frankly are just a bit ass for everyone.

Might be worth looking at the actual telegram post. Those look like pretty official documents.

Truer words man.... Palestinians have it rough. Honestly I can't see it improving under Hamas in any scenario. Keeping them poor and in pain keeps Hamas in power.

Perhaps when Israel take control they'll do the smart thing and pump some money into the region...it'd be a hard sell for any government though after Oct 7.

I think Hamas has said they're never releasing the hostages but here's hoping.

Even the Nazis surrendered when it became obvious they couldn't win and the suffering of their people became great.

Meanwhile Hamas: 'Some of you Palestinians may die but it's a sacrifice Hamas is willing to make'.

I'm curious though - you think Israel is funding and puppeting Hamas? As an excuse to roll over Gaza?

My ideology is that suffering should be minimised. I'd hope we could agree on that.

At this point be honest - is dragging this war out going to minimise suffering or maximise it?
