It's a ceasefire not peace. But stopping the shooting to allow aid and release the hostages is a good first step towards it

If you're waiting for Israel to stop existing or for them to just roll over for hamas the Palestinians will starve by then. Time to join the real world and compromise.

The UN is supposed to be impartial. Pretty sad situation. Worse when you consider that if this guy actually cared even slightly for the Palestinians, helping to start a war with a terror attack would not be how to do it.

I get that you have good intentions and I hate to tell you this but every racist thinks their racism is right and justified. Best to reject racism mate.

Also your example plays perfectly into the compromise I suggested. Why not give those with less chips more? They're not always (insert race you want to preference here).

I know the intention is to level the playing field but it's been divisive and often exploited by those who don't need it. Economic standards are far easier to determine, more accurate measures and aren't racist.

Israel can't stop till the hostages are back and hamas wants as many Palestinians dead as possible for propaganda. They'll never return them willingly.

I would be surprised if hostages turn up in Egypt and Iran too to try to expand the war.

Seems pretty sensible. Hamas dismantled and hostages home is Israel's goal so getting them back would pretty much end the war at this point.

I thought treating people differently based on race was to be avoided? There's no good racism right?

Wouldn't a better and fairer idea be to give people a hand up based on economic issues?

You can't tell if someone has experienced racial discrimination based on the race they ascribe to (ask Megan markle).

However you can definitely (and without bias) tell someone is going to be disadvantaged if they grew up in a poor neighbourhood, neither parent earned much, no family history of higher education etc etc.

Rest of the world: So should we stop supporting hamas right? If Hamas surrenders Israel loses if that's true right?

Islamic countries: Nah, they're our guys and we'll back them to the hilt. They can never surrender no matter how many Palestinians die!

This is really just an Iranian puppet. Iran is getting crazier in their efforts to plunge the whole region into war.

They have no natural predators (maybe eagles?). It's an island with pretty much just them. They live very peaceful lives rest assured

I didn't explain well I feel.

Too much prescience causes anxiety which people shy away from. It takes maturity and courage to look at the future, particularly if it's an inconvenient one. And yes, climate change is perfect example.
