  • Are you OK?

A released hostage told The Associated Press last month that she and over two dozen other captives had been held in Nasser Hospital. International law prohibits the targeting of medical facilities; they can lose those protections if they are used for military purposes, though operations against them still must be proportional to any threat.

  • Before the hamas apologists chime in perhaps you might consider that the Israeli were not fighting a pitched battle for days to enter this hospital with ghosts.

Hamas again seems to have militarised a hospital (a war crime) and attacking a militarised hospital is in fact not a war crime. Recovering their dead hostages is besides the point.

  • I'm curious about those stats. 90% of fentanyl is seized from legal crossings and 10% presumably from illegal ones. Isn't that a confirmation bias?

Presumably they don't find any significant proportion of illegal migrants so they don't really have any idea how much is coming in.

I'm not saying migrants bad but this kind of article is just poor journalism.

  • Fun fact: Piracy is still supporting the film industry. We see movies, talk about it, free publicy, reviews etc.

Apparently in the industry they consider the value of a pirated movie about 1/4 that of a paid one.

Some programs etc would pretty much die without piracy like the Adobe suite
