I swear that stubbornness kills more old people than anything else. Won't go see the doctor, won't listen to the doctor, won't take their medicine, won't do exercise, won't change diet, won't quit smoking, etc. They should list "stubbornness" as the cause of death.
Do you guys not remember how the SS "accidentally" deleted all the texts from SS agents on the day of Jan 6th? "Whoops! Our bad!" Heads should have rolled big time!
Problem is there's a catch 22. If you're not lucid enough to answer those questions, you're not lucid enough side whether you live or die from a legal standpoint.
Every law I know that allows euthanasia requires that the person have a terminal illness and enough mental faculties to make the decision. You run the risk of a loved one getting tried for murder if you ask them to give you the drugs and you are not competent to make the decision yourself.
That's nice. I still won't give my money to that asshole. I'm square in the middle of their target demographic and I figured I would buy a Tesla as my next car... Until the last year it two happened. I have the luxury of deciding where my money goes and and I won't buy a Tesla while it's his company.
Keep in mind that you two also aren't used to telling each other apart. You're perspective is always from the inside and the other is just the other. Your parents or other siblings would probably be much better at differentiating between you two. (I would assume.)
I’m still dumbfounded by the sheer number sycophant and adulator that keeps believing the ever changing nonsense he is peddling.
I actually think they know he's lying but they enjoy seeing the left get riled up and pissed off. They're driven by hate. They're willing to trade away truth, reality, and fairness to hate on liberals, to hate on immigrants, to hate on Muslims, or to hate on "the other" (Trans currently). They chase that feeling of self-righteous victory over the evil "others". They'll twist reality to fit that narrative and they'll partner with the devil himself if he just hurts the right people.
I left as soon as RIF went offline for my account. Mid-tier user with reasonable posts volume. Been on reddit since the big Digg migration. Now I'm here.
I miss a few things about it... the constantly refreshing front page, the indepth sub-reddits on smaller topics, and my post history. But I haven't gone back. Nor am I likely to unless management changes or they change their tone, neither of which is likely. Oh well, out with the old, in with the new.
Let's imagine an alternate scenario for a second. Let's say there was a Black Lives Matter protest and they broadcast the same stuff that these guys did. "Come to the capital protest!" "It will be wild!" Etc. Then let's say AOC got up there and said "lets march to the capital!"... Imagine this happened while Trump is in office.... and you know for a FACT there would have been tanks in the street and attack helicopters in the air and solders with guns drawn before then even got close to the capital.
The lack of response is how you know this was a Trump planned event. Only a fucking moron would not see the obvious.
So... they occupy the building. Trump moves in with the military to "protect the capital" and says "we're postponing the results of the election until we can resolve the election irregularities". He then weeds out the generals in the military that show resistance to going along with things. Then he basically just extends the deadline for when he'll hand power back indefinitely. Then he finds a way to blame the democrats for the Jan 6th stuff and locks them up, and voilà, coup complete.
The republicans would have gone along with this is a heart beat.
Maybe this will inspire the law. We can call it the "stop Tesla lying act"
Although to be fair, my 2012 Kia Hybrid also grossly over estimates it's MPG. So much so that I also thought something was wrong with it when I first bought it, so it's not just Tesla. MPG and range absolutely need some strict regulation on it with some real teeth if companies get caught gaming the system.
So I'm curious, how did you end up? Is there anything in your adult life that indicates your capabilities are above average?
