  • If space was at a premium, sure, but I'd hate to have this in our kitchen.

  • How is it unsanitary?

  • The only account on LinkedIn worth following.

  • I'm sorry but that's not true. The Welsh are pretty nationalistic and proudly fly the Welsh flag everywhere. You don't see the union flag as much but there's no way you'd get in trouble with the police for flying either flag.

I lived in Wales for 8 years.

  • Just watched the race. Oh Norris 😔 he had a great race up until that point too.

  • I wonder where standard and splendid fit on the shitoscale. Perfection has to be where you've been waiting ages and you finally log out and you feel about 50kg lighter, and only requires a single wipe.

I'll let someone else have the fun of describing the other end of the scale...

  • So the jury found him guilty but it doesn't sound like the judge is convinced of his guilt, or at least it sounds like theres little viable evidence that he's associated with the robbers. What other reconnaissance could he have done that would make him guilty? How is using a toilet for it's intended purpose reconnaissance? So many questions!

  • The council is Dublin City Council. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I don't think Dublin is in the United Kingdom...

  • But why? What's the reason for not letting the teams do this?

  • It's waaaaaay more likely dude missed his flight and is pulling a stunt compared to be virtually uninjured and walking into a busy area before rescue crews were out.

This would be insane and quite a claim. His brother was on the flight, so either his brother also missed the flight and would be with him, or he saw his brother die in a plane crash and then immediately decides to head to the crash site and fake being in the accident? I mean it's not impossible but still lol

It's probably more likely the plane hit a building first, causing it to break up and he was ejected from the aircraft before the huge explosion.

  • Asking myself the same thing. The video of it going up in a huge fireball, I just assumed everyone onboard and nearby would have been instantly gone.

  • I totally forgot that he wasn't in the race in Spain. I barely hear him mentioned in any race.

  • From outside looking in, kicking the Tories to the fucking curb is a huge accomplishment.

This is more of an own goal from the Tories rather than there being a serious competent alternative.

  • I actually accidentally did this at school way back when. My mate and I decided to have an "Excel" race, where we'd start at the top of the sheet and see who could reach the bottom first by holding down either down arrow or pg down (this is obviously fun when you're 15).

Anyway, I reach the bottom, many laughs are had, go back the top, continue with whatever bullshit assignment we'd been given and then sent it off to the printer. Went onto some top down mini golf flash game and pissed about on there for a bit, until the teacher stands next to me and slams down a massive pile of paper onto my desk. She didn't look impressed.

Turns out I must have put a space or some random character at the bottom by accident and printed it. However the biggest issue was that I'd put my name in the header for the sheet, so every single page had my name in the top corner.

  • What’s worse is they contract in a fixed price for the power generated which is way higher than renewables can generate it for. So we’re paying more for our electricity.

I guess they do this due to the enormous amount of investment needed to build a nuclear power station, so need some way of guaranteeing returns on it?
