Honestly, it's not as rosy as this makes it out to be. Germany and the rest of Europe have their own surge of right wing extremism to contend with. Some of it can be traced back to Russian and Chinese influence. But they wouldn't have it so easy if there weren't enough seeds already.
Police groups that have chats where they share their racist views. Clubs fighting to keep their sexist and racist "traditions" alive that are about a hundred years old. Our current government is conducting illegal border controls despite rulings deeming them illegal and ordering a stop.
A quarter of last election's votes went to the extremists. Another quarter but slightly more to the not so extreme racists who now form the government together with a so called left wing party that failed biology when backbones were discussed.
Our media just ignores it all or amplifies everything the extremists are saying in an attempt to "show all sides".
By now we have an official document by our constitution defence spelling out without a doubt that the extremists are not a democratic party but want to dismantle democracy. And our government refuses to open up the lawsuit to ban them because "we have to defeat them politically" when that has failed spectacularly over the last decade because bit by bit they copy their talking points.
This mechanism to ban extremists in Germany was explicitly implemented to fend of exactly what is happening right now. Because we know from our history that anti democratic parties can rise to power through democratic means. And we have to fight that every way we can before it is again too late.
At least according to toddler me who invented a "joke" about a burning pig which was put out by a firefighter. I thought it was hilarious. A burning pig! The firefighter was soooo confused!
I didn't even address the component wear because I didn't know either way. 😁
But as long as you pay for green energy none of that money will go towards supporting non-green infrastructure. So it should incentivise the energy companies to invest more into green ones.
Of course it doesn't change where your energy is really coming from. Most likely from the gas plant around the corner. But maybe from your rich neighbour's solar panels.
Exchanging money is also not economically worth it. And if you only pay for renewable electricity it isn't bad for the environment either, at least on paper.
A friend's parents are classic car buffs so they got him a cheap Trabant (car from former east Germany) for his birthday. It was awesome. I mean, the car itself sucked ass, it had trouble going uphill and it was made of cardboard. But it was still kinda cool.
When it died around graduation the class sawed it in half and buried it in the school's garden so that it looked like it was driving out of the ground. It was part of that year's graduation stunt.
Our first use of the speak with dead spell revealed that the bandit had a cousin in Neverwinter. I made it my personal quest to find her and give her news of her cousin's passing.
I can consistently separate the chocolate from both waffles without breaking any of them with Hanutas. And I can do the same for Prinzenrolle but with slightly less consistency. The latter are more dependend on temperature.
No shit, most washing machines really eat socks. They sometimes slip between rubber and drum and then slowly dissolve. Have seen a video of that happening. And have found a lost sock when I had to repair the machine.
