My work decided to close for Juneteenth, but then I had to come back on Friday, and I told everyone I was going to request that Friday off so I could have a four-day weekend for the price of one day of PTO, and I forgot to do it, so I had to work a weird bizarroland hellscape Friday where we had just had a day off so we have like a little bit more energy than usual, but then the weekend is also about to hit so everyone wanted to leave, but everyone also wanted to get all of their work done, so for me it was just a fucking nightmare.

How is it possible to regret eating blueberries? Like, I need more details.

I speak for a sizeable portion of the human race when I say I'll never voluntarily eat bugs.

Why would we assume that you have to be 21 years old or the equivalent to drink alcohol in a medieval fantasy world?

There are still many parts of the modern world that allow 16 year olds to drink.

And even in the medieval time period of Europe, pretty much everyone would drink alcohol because it was cleaner than water, although younger people would tend to drink "small beers" that had very light alcohol.

My assumption would be that in this time frame, if the bartender judged you competent and capable of drinking, they would sell you alcohol.

If they didn't, they wouldn't, and the only consequence would be that you're on your own in dealing with the effects of alcohol on you.

I wonder if you could go back to him when he got his start on that TV show with the Wayans brothers and told him that he would enter playing Dr. Robotnik in the Sonic movie what he would think.

Yeah, it's definitely all ten, although I can see how I would regret that choice from time to time.

Fortunately, robot hands are pretty cool, and I'm sure that if the world were prosperous and they saw somebody with no fingers, they would all chip in to help back out. So it wouldn't be like terrible forever, but it would definitely have its moments where it sucks.
