Apparently it took so much time and effort to make high DPI print nozzles that it's much more attractive for a company to go and make a 3d printer rather than battle it out in a dying market that's remained a stable distribution of HP, Brother and Epson (and partially Canon).

Step 2 is doubly true. Because not only did they steal the studios users, and dent their profit margins being competitive, they also went out and became their own studio.

Out of survival in a way, but their brand is so strong they keep most of users despite any conversion rate Netflix's competitors have.

I got this same deal from T-Mobile a while back, it gave Netflix with two screens.

Eventually my Dad went and got an upgrade and they raised his price. He asked to join my plan so we split the bill.

Easy, two screens two accounts, we each had our own login through Netflix family.

I have since moved away for a job, and now he can't use Netflix because we have different addresses. We can't use a license we rightfully own as it was originally sold to us.

I wish they offered another video service instead. I'd rather swap to it and not even use it just to spite the hasty cash grab Netflix made.

Today they probably groan and attribute it to inflation tbh

It depends on area as well.

I make ~150k total comp. I got the job during pandemic.

I got really close to affording a house, but then RTO happened so I had to move closer to the office. Around the same time house prices ballooned.

Rent within an hour of the office is now half my monthly income. In my case there are other bills involved as well. I am very fortunate I can save money right now l, but I don't see every ten years being possible if things remain as they are today.

Hoping I can find a comparable job this year, somewhere cheaper, and happier to live.

I use absolute paths with -rf now, to prevent the error again.

Every other breakage I had was with apt shitting itself. It has always been fixable just annoying.

That's another problem. So few will vote with their wallets because they're so addicted to the game they'll just deal with it.

Webassmely is still an option. Iirc Photoshop uses this for it's web version and it seems to work very well

Literally same. My entire life has been striving to build a life where I don't need a car. (mainly out of frustration with NJ's toxic surcharge program).

Sadly, no one in NY was hiring and my dumbass moved to Austin. Now my drive is to get back to NY where there actually is a hope of using public transit.

It really can't. If you spoof the user agent it'll crash immediately after a call starts.

I suspect they use something extra on top of normal WebRTC.
