I do too, but I think being that tone deaf after being called out says a lot, and I think it's pretty good reason to not make blanket endorsements for his statements/beliefs

No, I was hoping it'd be confirmed when I mentiomed it could be tongue in cheek. Doesn't always come across in a thread where some are unironically making the same point.

I think this is an extremely generous take. For anyone not in the loop, he gets called POS for famously weighing in on discussions of pedophelia by saying children 13+ aren't children so it's not pedophelia.

Maybe we're reading something different, or this is tongue and cheek but "Alibaba's research arm, the Damo Academy, " sounds like research arm is a synonym for "research division" or "research department".

I can see where this came from. ARM and RISC-V are both reduced instruction set computer (RISC) architechtures but are not the same. Arm is a proprietary ISA originally from Acorn. Risc-v is a new ISA developed completely open-source

I'm in a similar boat, but tend to mirror my important files across a lot of my drives. Also, whenever I move hard drives computer to computer, I first look at the drive and copy everything I don't wanna lose, just in case.. Basically, learned to be careful the hard way a few times lol

In all this printer talk... Shout out for dot matrix printers! As long as I send ascii, it prints exactly what I want it to, and graphics are a predictable format detailed in the printer manual
