  • I played on Linux with NVidia for a few years. Was overall okay-ish but I definitely had issues. Just switched to a 7600XT and it's like putting on glasses when I didn't know I had poor vision. Everything just works, wayland is seamless and smooth in a way X11 just never was, DX12 games run faster than they did on Windows.

  • I'm a robusta drinker, anytime I'm stuck with arabica I use a pinch of salt and as you say, it does wonders. Livens it up and cuts through the acidic taste some arabica tends to have.

  • Oh? Never heard of it, just use neofetch cause it's the first one I've found. What makes it superior?

  • No offense taken, to each their own. I've tried plank a few times, I always find it lacking in options and end up coming back to latte. I agree latte can have stability issues, but I disabled animations and transparency and it's incredibly snappy so far. And to be fair, I've never commited to learning planks ins and outs so maybe someday I'll give it a more serious try and find I like it. I do appreciate your input though.

  • Yep, was scolded on reddit for "making a post about an antisemite" when I mentioned Mel Gibson in a list of some 10 odd other actors I liked (I even mentioned in the post that I was only refering to his acting, not his personal character). Guess by the internets rules, Mad Max is no longer a good movie?

  • Praise be the Omnissiah

  • Thank the gods for games like Warframe. F2P, fun, lots of content, reasonable grind, the devs are actually trying to make a fun game and not just milk you for money. It's the only F2P game I've put money into and I would do it again

  • The Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and Denmark are all capitalist societies and run on <5 day work weeks. Capitalism is not the problem, North American society in particular is what seems to have the problem.

  • Forhead Fables. Bunch of silly goose gamers have a silly goose time. They also play Dungeons and Dragons and it's very entertaining.

  • Teach people to mind their own business. Most of the conflicts I hear about are from people needlessly sticking their nose in other peoples business.

  • Microphones, webcams, capture cards, etc

  • Lmaooooo you're comparing two dudes kissing to a genocidal, white supremacist disctatorship. Get real.

  • Try it on an external drive. I did that a couple years ago just to fool around and see if I liked it, within a week it was my main OS and I've barely used Windows since.

  • The only modern games I've ever had issues with were a few select DX12 games (and that's due to my GPU). Outside of that, some old games outside of Steam game me trouble, but that's usually just a matter of fiddling with some settings in Lutris. Even then, those are usually games that also have trouble on modern Windows versions, and they often require less tweaking on Linux to get them running.

  • Easily in my top 5. I personally don't mind some of the ARG content, but I always know when I see one of his videos drop it's gonna be a banger
