  • You save up and get a second hand car you can afford. Why buy a new one, even a car with 30K miles or 50K KMs is a lot cheaper, while its still new enough to drive for a while without major repairs.

  • I had the same experience until i bought an HP (Omen) gaming laptop a couple of years ago. Even regular Ubuntu didn't boot from USB drive. I had to mess with some kernel parameters (ACPI or something) to even boot it. Unfortunately sometimes you have some hardware or weird bios that just doesn't work. Never had this with any other laptop after

  • In short because Elon (wrongly) believes you only need cameras, he made the claim people also drive with just 2 eyes.

The thing is, we recognize a truck with stickers of a stopsign, while AI vision gets confused.

Waymo (Googles self driving side hussle) was build on lidar and other sensors and has been using robot taxis for many years now in geofenced specific areas.

  • That's not very fair, the US also promised Ukraine protection if they'd removed their nukes in the 90s...

    FYI

When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Ukraine had the world’s third largest nuclear arsenal on its territory. When Ukrainian-Russian negotiations on removing these weapons from Ukraine appeared to break down in September 1993, the U.S. government engaged in a trilateral process with Ukraine and Russia. The result was the Trilateral Statement, signed in January 1994, under which Ukraine agreed to transfer the nuclear warheads to Russia for elimination. In return, Ukraine received security assurances from the United States, Russia and Britain; compensation for the economic value of the highly-enriched uranium in the warheads (which could be blended down and converted into fuel for nuclear reactors); and assistance from the United States in dismantling the missiles, missile silos, bombers and nuclear infrastructure on its territory.

  • Russia has started up a war economy, scaling up production of weapons, tanks, etc.

Putin probably waits untill Trump destroys NATO and is just taking his time to prepare.

The only reason Ukraine has been holding on for this long is because all the stuff they got from the US and EU. If that stops it's not going to last long.

Pete Hegseth already completely fucked Ukraine by saying they need to give up on joining NATO and just accept that Russia can keep all the occupied areas. It's like the Trump administration just wants to kiss Putin's ass.

  • For me definitely steps, I walk 5000 steps on a work day, when I actually have time off its more like 10K steps. I would stop working and just walk with my dog for an full hour every day. Combine that with normal daily stuff I'll definitely get 10K steps (2500 euros/dollars) every day. That's almost a million a year.

  • You don't understand they guy is an absolute genius, he's on the factory floor every day, with a welding machine and soldering iron building all theses Tesla's. He also wrote all the software himself so we have full self driving cars since 2015, they never crash! I just took a robo taxi this morning, it was kind of big and there where other people in it, but I didn't have to drive or do anything, all thanks to Elon.
