  • I agree. More teams will lead to more competition and more racing--the entire reason anybody watches the sport.

  • That is entirely wrong.

Silverstone was July 9th, nearly a week before the SAG strike started.

  • So supposing this isn't atypical, there wasn't reason to create drama last year or earlier this season?

It's just weird to me this would suddenly start being a hot-button topic if Max and GP "have always been like this."

  • I get that, but why would they start bringing attention to the messages now if it has always been like this?

  • Is it just me or does it seem like something is genuinely going on between GP and Max?

I know everyone has been saying this is just how their relationship is, but I don't remember nearly this many quips in the past.

  • And now Mercedes did it with Russell too!

  • I wasn't really following Norris, but that stop didn't make any sense. Surely he could have gone a few more laps.

  • I agree. I don't know if it's being broadcasted more because it's in vogue right now, but there seem to be a lot of snappy comments. I don't remember hearing nearly this much in past seasons.

  • Only a half second off a Ferrari! Incredible pace!

  • He's looks good so far. Definitely a good chance for points if he keeps the car on track.

  • Just saw the replay and that's definitely what happened. More of a racing incident, but you can't put much blame on Piastri.

  • I need to see the replay but it didn't look like his fault either.

  • Still not too bad of a drive! He definitely had more pace than Yuki.

  • 5sec definitely seems excessive.

  • Daniel is pretty pleased right now.

  • And now the tables have turned between Oscar and Max thanks to the safety car!

  • If this is the threshold for the amount of spray to race then we'll never see a full wet race again.
