  • Yeah, restart after 5 laps behind a safety car to dry the track.

  • They did exactly what they've done before. Reset positions per the last available sector timings.

  • It would be minimal risk--honestly not that different than dry conditions. Double yellows in that sector would mean cars are just creeping through.

  • Eh, I'm kinda split. I see why they erred more conservatively though, and it was probably the right decision.

On one hand Zhou was definitely in a risky position, but on the other hand I think everyone would have put on full wets on the next lap and the risk for another crash under SC/VSC would be very low.

  • It definitely would have if they didn't red flag the race.

  • I just wish they didn't red flag. I want to see racing in full wet conditions.

  • The McLaren's sure look good in racing conditions. What a fantastic driver pairing too.

  • You're right. Max definitely had enough pace that he would have overtaken on track if the undercut didn't happen.

  • Is any rain expected later in the race? They'll definitely break the record if that happens.

  • I wasn't really paying attention to him. How'd he end up so far back? Russell type situation?

  • Lol at Russell asking the same thing on the radio.

  • And now they've gone back to slicks with light rain in a lap or two. That seems risky.

  • I bet we've already had more overtakes than last year.

  • They got so lucky with with slick/inter delta. Their blunder is masked by how many cars were ahead on slicks.

  • At least we're seeing Max have to do some overtaking.

  • Oh dear, I hope the rain works out in Lando's favor this time.

  • Are you kidding Ferrari. No tires again!?
