  • By killing everyone else except they considered acceptable it leaves only equality left. One of their goals was to remove everyone else who didn't fit into their vision leaving only those left.

It's similar to the policies that mandate various under represented groups are the only ones able to partake in various activities. Both are shitty methods of creating equal outcomes just... One is far more lethal and terrible obviously. But the same flawed logic trying to force an outcome.

  • Over Ukrainian territory. For defensive purposes. Where it was originally agreed for. Crimea hasn't been Ukraine for years (even though it should be). Offensives into Russia were not part of any operational original deals.

It's not deactivating if it was never live there.

  • You're still relying on old information. He clarified this. Starlink was never active over crimea. He was asked to activate it and said no as that was part of the restrictions on the deployment and would have been breaking the terms that clarified it as an act of war from the west.

He didn't shut them off. Access was never active in that region.

  • The idea is that the Nazis tried to create in their perverse fucked up way technical equality by exterminating everyone else that didn't conform to their vision and everyone else was equally removed from existence. Thus not all methods of getting to equality are valid or good and we should be careful about saying all methods of creating equality or mandating it are good.

  • They've simply been promoted to living to serve the remainder of the population! (I'm just using the playbook from every movie for evil dictator justifications. Absolutely don't think this at all btw. Big /s after these statements if it wasn't clear. )

  • As someone who goes to Italy yearly with a family of 4 and a dog often the smaller car storage notes are bullshit.

We rent to drive to our home here and then use bikes when or borrow the inlaws car but they often say 5 or 6 seater with room for 3 luggages but it often means at the expense of seats. I often travel with my daughter's stroller beneath the kids feet and a luggage or several backpacks on the floor or in the middle seat and for a several hours drive it's not comfy. Meanwhile my traverse in the states I can fit all of them plus the luggages etc on way to anywhere and we're all comfy for hours.

Not that that's a justification for larger cars but it's definitely not on par and you totally need to play Tetris or sacrifice comfort to make it work.

  • I have two nginx ingress running on my cluster. One of private one public. Public one is what's exposed on 80 and 443 to the net.

The private is only available via VPN or lan. The public is for services I want internet exposed.

My family have a VPN network set up to my lan on their router and have access to most services but the public stuff is for the internet friends

  • It wasnt containerized sadly but remember in a container you still share (albeit split by cgroups) kernel space and the kernel. Only userland is isolated.

So kernel level sploits are still a concern. Wasn't the case here but still.
