  • I wouldn't give Google $32.99/m for YouTube, no matter how slowly they increased the price, that's utterly ridiculous.

I've used Curiosity Stream and Nebula before, would happily go back.

  • The United States of Diabetes.

  • Combine that with the 83% price increase in Australia!

YouTube can eat shit, they're screwing over even those of us willing to pay, Smarttube here I come!

  • Wanking is a free and enjoyable hobby.

  • Nope, hate them, pure gimmick.

  • Yeah nah buddy.

I only have YouTube Premium/Red because it came free with Play Music, then they killed that and we all jumped to Spotify because it was/is so much better and kept our subscription just for ad-free YouTube.

If they seperate YouTube from YouTube Music, YouTube Music would die in seconds. The app sucks, having it linked to YouTube sucks, they know this.

  • You might not have the latest version, that was a known bug and fixed yesterday.

I was able to sign in yesterday after updating.

  • Well aware of those apps, installed that yesterday on my phone and Smarttube on the media player, could still end up blocked by Google.

  • Got the same bullshit email, total dick move by Google and I'll be cancelling. It's just pure greed.

I'm be exploring the ad blocking and/or VPN options.

Google need to separate YouTube and Music.

  • There isn't just one; that's an impossible choice.

Rake, Hard Quiz, Breaking Bad, The Expanse, X-Files, Malcolm In The Middle, Futurama...

  • Season 2 was definitely not 10/10, it was slow and annoying, maybe a 9/10... šŸ˜‰

  • Just disable the crap and keep using Brave.

  • I honestly can't remember any band or song names, I just know it's fun as to listen to after a few drinks.

  • Mate I can't remember if it was a limitation of the old Sony combo or not, it's likely it was or I wouldn't have done it that way.

I do remember looking into putting the HDD into my PC, since I didn't do it, I'm going to assume it was a proprietary format and couldn't be read.

This was a set and forget process for 90's quality home videos.

  • I did this last year for a bunch of family videos.

I bought an used VHS/HDD/DVD combo, recorded the VHS to HDD to DVD, then used my PC to rip those DVD to MKV and chucked them on my NAS for access/backup.

Quality is fine compared to the originals.

  • Why?

If you already have the ripped copies, they're easier and more convenient to browse and watch, you're basically just filling up your shelves with worthless coasters.

  • Another shit account to block!
