Have you ever heard of the following?

First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.

Ridicule is helpful, but not sufficient. The new right has established itself all over western democracies. They have built organizations, institutions, parties, companies, etc.

Zionism is literally the right of the Jewish people to self determination in the form of the state of Israel. It’s simply Jewish nationalism.

Antizionism demands Israel‘s destruction and denies the Jewish nation the right to self determination.

Denying the right to self determination only for the Jewish people, but not for other people (e. g. Palestinians) is antisemitic of course. If you’re opposed to all ethnicity based nation states or states in general, it’s not antisemitic. It’s rarely the case though, that anti-zionists are also against the existence of Finland, Italy, and Mongolia.

Wealth distribution (wages, cost of living, housing) is one thing.

The demographic changes caused by low birth rates and immigration are not to be underestimated. They have a huge impact on identity, outlook towards the future, and societal cohesion.

A majority of older people, many without children, who only care about their own pensions and benefits are not conducive to societal change, growth, and adaptation. Wealth distribution plays a role here too of course. The younger generations realize they won’t be able to live the lifestyle of their parents is a huge blow to overall morale. Disintegration of institutions (church, unions) only accelerate the alienation and destruction of social cohesion. Families are also much weaker. They are smaller and their members are more likely to live further apart. Divorce adds further instability and disconnection. That all contributes to increased mental health issues and loneliness.

Society is in crisis in many ways. People promising radical change (back to an imaginary glorious past) become more and more attractive.

The Jewish people apparently are the only people that don’t deserve a right to self determination.

Antizionism means to be a against Israel‘s existence. Half the world's Jews live in Israel and the state protects them. Without the state of Israel millions of Jews are in danger of ethnic cleansing or genocide. So the consequences of antizionism are enabling antisemitic acts on a large scale.

Now type it a form that doesn’t allow copy and paste.

I say we go back to the trees.

For a small project I recently switched to fossil from git. It’s also distributed version control, but includes a bug tracker, wiki, and other stuff as well. It’s minimalist, but hosting yourself is super easy.

Default git over ssh is often enough as well. Combine with any bug tracker and CI you like. You don’t need to use an all in one tool like GitHub.

MacOS has great power user features in general. pbcopy and pbpaste in the terminal are super useful. You can also change the shortcuts of menu items for all applications in syatem settings. Sadly this doesn’t work for Electron and some cross platform applications. Many of those even forgot putting commands in a menu in the first place.

Apple has too many automation and extensions tools:

• AppleScript has been around for decades
• Services in the Service menu inherited from NeXTStep
• Automator actions
• Share menu ported over from iOS
• Shortcuts App ported from iOS

Apple only advertises the newest of those: Shortcuts

It’s what my girlfriend tells me regularly.

Sounds like traditional and still widespread expectations.
