They don’t think about endgame. The life they live is one without consequence; they have no intention to start thinking ahead, that’d make them uncomfortable.

Also, this endgame is already manifesting. Remember all those headlines about millennials killing “X” industry? Less wealth in the working class for luxuries that previous generations would have enjoyed at the same age. Before long it’ll be not enough wealth for certain luxuries outright.

I never smoked hand rolls regularly; they didn’t feel bad in the moment but we were working with cardboard standoffs, not really much of a filter in that case. It’s probably for the best I’ve moved on from that

Yeah I feel like cyberpunk didn’t really do anything mechanically revolutionary with the narrative. It was incredibly written imo but felt pretty linear outside of dialogue choices with some options for growing attached to a romantic side character.

To me, BG3 definitely set a new high water line when it came out for what can be done in a modern rpg.

It’s outrageous that a loan for higher education comes with an interest rate at all. The increased productivity of a college graduate should cover the need to profit off the loan. Extra silly because as a graduate you only see compensation for a paltry fraction of that increased productivity.

For sure, but if you tell that kid to just fall in line because you know better, you’re going to get an even more obstructive petulant response to your request. You have to meet people as individuals and let them in on the vision if you want them to be invested in it. Most of the messaging I saw however, was people taking any and all opportunity to display their superiority to anyone that doesn’t immediately fit into the plan

No I voted and still blame them. People were vocal about their concerns and intentions to not vote months before the election and the campaign ignored them and somehow that isn’t their fault.

Also the 10 million, like you said, were ignorant. It wasn’t the ultra-impassioned grandstanders that affected an election. It was people that saw the last 4 years relatively boring politics as a license to tune out and figured this election wasn’t something they needed to worry about. Those people exist in far FAR higher numbers than anybody actually paying attention

The people that like trump like that shit. The people that vote dem, at most, tolerate it but the harder they lean in that direction the less enthusiastic their base is about voting for them

This isn’t even for our safety; most conflicts aren’t. Best I can gather, this is all about regional influence and geopolitical brownie points that don’t matter to all but the ruling class
