Okay I'm not the person to ask about that. I just answered your question about whether they were talking about Krushchev. If you wanna get your pants in a twist then do it to OP.
Okay then I agree with what the other person said. Go healthier. Don't overwhelm yourself though. You don't need to suddenly go vegan. Just shop healthier. It also helps to eat out less simply because restaurants like to give big servings. It just starts with strawberry pop tarts instead of cookies and cream. That sort of thing.
I mean for me it was bad at first but once I began memorizing calories of my favorite snacks it led to me eating less of them. Ymmv though. Sugary drinks is the number one imo. Even candy is sometimes better than a single can of soda.
Quit soda is a pretty basic easy one. Don't drink anything except juices, water, and milk and make sure the juices are 0 sugar. You may get withdrawals depending on how often you regularly drink sugary drinks. Carbonated water works too, just make sure to read the label to see if it's actually 0 sugar. It'll take a lot of willpower in the first few weeks but after that it's smooth sailing. I'm 6 weeks right now without soda and already dropped 10 pounds of weight. All I've had is water, carbonated water, and lemonade on occasion.
Calorie counting can also help depending on the availability. You don't have to be meticulous. Just make sure you aren't eating as much empty calories and that you don't go over the recommended daily amount too much.
I'm in college (US) and it's the hookup app. If you wanna meet people for 1 night stands then it's the app. If you wanna date then you use bumble, hinge, or POF.
You can look into if there are neighborhood watch organizations in your area. Some are religious, some aren't. You'd probably have to do some digging on how well equipped they are, but some are almost shockingly well equipped to handle certain situations.
A lot of times "neighborhood watch in effect" signs are empty threats or defunct at best but you really never know.
If you live in the northeast US, I do know there is a Jewish one that's free and can help with lots of situations. I forget the name though.
It's a space MMO sandbox game that's been in development for like 11 years now I think? It's still in the alpha stage. I think at one point it was the highest backed Kickstarter in history. Some people think it's fraud and they'll never deliver, others think they're working on it just slowly. I think at this point universally though, people are just starting to give up hope. The game is available and in a playable state, it's just nowhere near the promised state.
It also doesn't help that a lot of ships in star Citizen can be bought with real life cash for pretty exorbitant amounts. A cursory Google search (haven't played the game) tells me that the "600i Executive Edition" is the most expensive ship in the game, available for $25,000 real life USD.
I've heard the best comparison for the game is the presently finished game Elite: Dangerous. Star Citizen is basically saying they're E:D but better.
yeah I was initially all for the fediverse but it seems the more and more I interact outside of beehaw, the less and less I seem to enjoy it. Even just browsing comment threads makes me almost pissed off the way people are talking to each other. It feels like a very recent trend too. I try sometimes to tell people that I'm not fighting them but for some reason people outside of beehaw that I talk to almost universally get extremely hostile when I just talk to them about things. It's such an odd reaction. People on beehaw seem to be fine though.
I guess people come on here just to fight and then get confused when somebody doesn't want to fight.
And not to wave fingers at people, but I have noticed that whenever posts on beehaw get sour it's often from the non-beehaw accounts.
