First sing I saw in google play was the tag for in-app purchases. I'm okay paying for an app but I would prefer doing so beforehand without guessing what I might be paying after installation. Then the first thing I saw in sync was sponsored content. Absolutely not cool.
Connect for Lemmy has basically the same layout as well as the thunder client just without sponsored content. I would totally understand if those client where garbage or had missing features but that's not the case... So what am I missing?

Saying scalability is the main factor for higher prices and capitalists controlling prices would be a conspiracy theory seams very shortsighted and, sorry, uneducated to me.
