Have a longer think on that. Interoperability with receipts and a programming language. Sounds like it could go somewhere.

You can go pretty far with that analogy. A docker container is just a glorified zip folder in a kubernetes cluster. Yes sure you get some of its functionality, but you're missing quite a bit.

It's an idea to play with... I dont think the specifics are all ironed out, but maybe with more building and more ideas would we control our data and earn from it like the corporations do.

The pure data isn't sitting on the blockchain itself, but in a ipfs or something similar. But the contracts and tokens allow you to automate it and own it/give out access to it to a certain extent.

Its a small project, but I like the idea, could be something.

Probs get down votes, but look up data latte, you can put your data on the blockchain (anonymized) and get paid if somebody buys it, eg for market research.

Which essentially is what Google does. Sells your data to the market

Hmm nothing really jumped out at me at first glance, I don't mind the ligature stuff, but also love monospace for the aesthetic.

But I am glad they're experimenting with this stuff. Ive always wanted a sarcastica font, we're almost there with sArCAsm. But it's a pain to write :)

Yeah it's more primitive, I don't see it as a full cad drafting replacement, but as mentioned, it's nice for things like gears and classic parameter based models.

It's free for hobbyist and have your models open...

I use OpenSCAD for some gears etc, but onshape for the rest. I used FreeCAD for work a few years ago as we were stuck on Linux, I can wield it well, but it's a bit clunky and would crash often on things like threads.

Onshape just works for the home hobbyist. I wish FreeCAD was a bit better, but I understand it's a lot of work, just the creature comforts of fusion and onshape are hard to give back up.

Price you pay..

FreeCAD is basically the only decent FOSS, but if you want to swap autocad for somebody else you can try onshape, it's browser based so works well on all platforms.

Sounds like you're within limits, I would just try a few steps less for this particular model and see if it makes it better.

Feed rate slightly too high, so that after 5 mins it can build up pressure and once it lifts, it shoots out the pressure that built up.
