I don’t doubt you, but it’s worth asking if your reasons for stating that our phones don’t listen to us 24/7 haven’t changed since you first formed the opinion.
Lots of things are meso-facts (a true fact at rhetorical time we learn it, but no longer true later). Tech moves quickly. It’s worth not assuming anyone is right here, & asking: under what conditions could our phones be listening (enough to produce what OP experienced)?
Huh. Weird. Bezos’s face is different from how it used to be. He’s definitely gotten gender affirming surgery (testosterone or some cheek squaring plastic surgery)
Same here. Open world game with tons of side quests? I’m exploring every little cave & finding those Korok seeds. Add in normal life breaks & I stretched out Zelda BOTW for years, even with lots of all day playing sessions. That $70 cost of the game became next to nothing if I were to calculate some cost-per-dopamine value
You’re correct! And also, to be thorough, all corporations hate their customers.
(Are the customers making the corps’s billionaires into trillionaires yet? How about now? STILL NO?!! Then we hateses them!)
Corps would absolutely prefer to chain up all humans and legally force us to buy all & every product with every cent we make. Apple is no different 🤷♂️
I get your point— but in truth thrift stores have started charging tons more in the last few years. Boomer zombies might also go “but honey look, they’re charging $1 per fork!” , which, yeah but I’m not doing a whole yard sale for your crap Mom.
Salvation Army and Goodwill don’t refuse things— I’m not sure where you’re getting that. They take their free donations, mark them up so much you could almost buy things mew elsewhere for the same price. They’re not a resale shop like Buffalo Exchange
It’s intestines. I’ve had it. You think it’s gonna be yknow, ok, you think oh I’ll just brave it, but… it’s foul.
Some food is only around because people were starving so you’d eat anything no matter what, you wouldn’t waste anything. Those foods somehow got canonized, hooray tradition 🤮
Stores will never respect your privacy or data, so you have no obligation to respect a corporation’s expectation of truth.
Just have memorized fake data ready for bullshit like this, say it when asked. Then the retail person who cares even less than you about it (but is forced to pretend they do, in order to survive) can get to their break faster. Win win
“Christ, what an asshole, am i right?!”
