  • Yes, but not a monopoly held by private interest who want to milk it for every penny. It would be public and as such much easier to control through democratic means.

  • Oh yay more whittling down of an already conglomerated industry surely this will be good for people

  • I dunno, it navigates pretty well but I find myself having to use Google for search

  • It works but can be more finicky

  • You generally don't need to mess with drivers on Linux with desktop oriented distros.

One exception is Nvidia graphics cards IF you want to game. They'll work fine out of the box but for full gaming performance you've gotta install their proprietary drivers. (And this is slightly harder on Fedora due to their more aggressive anti-proprietary policies.)

  • Uhhhh

    Mine did both

  • 10/10 response. Especially the "Yes I condemn murder part" where he flips their stupid question on it's head.

  • Honestly it looks like the crust seems half decent.

  • Your browser fingerprint appears to be unique among the 183,996 tested in the past 45 days.

    :(

  • The app-only build your own box is still one of the best deals in fast food IMO. $6

  • Per capita or total?

  • Smell that?

Fuck guess the fume hood isn't working

  • Drinkmate. Better anyway because the removable/cleanable carbonator head allows you to carbonate any drink and also premix drinks. You'll lose a lot of carbonation the SodaStream way of mixing after carbonating.

  • Unfortunately probably the only such site that might host such a fundraiser

  • Probably. I was born closer to the millennium and in the US. I don't remember my peers having phones until at least middle school (11-14 years old)

Teens definitely had them. But elementary school kids no. Not like now for sure. Maybe a few did but (if I recall, obviously I wasn't paying bills then) US phone plans were quite expensive with many paying PER TEXT SENT. So for the kids that did have them probably couldn't do much but call, so I never saw them taking them out or anything during class.

It wasn't uncommon for kids to play around with old PDAs or phones, but no active service so more a camera/shitty games.

Then again maybe I just didn't go to the higher income schools lmao.

  • Honestly if they'd update their freaking phones in a timely and long-term manner I'd say Moto still makes great phones.
