  • I read and agree with the other comment here, but it's mainly a kind of nonverbal communication. I linked our computers and gave my gf the ability to change my background whenever she wanted, wherever she was, and vice versa. it's just a way of being close and all up in each other's business when we can't get all up in each other's business.

  • Huh. Yeah. I just probably did what was necessary and didn't think about it too much, but that's just because I've been using Linux for ages.

looks like the easiest way is if you have them on two separate drives. I don't, they share an efi partition.. .. but, Windows has also overwritten things on there before, and I had to rescue the Linux side. Not most peoples' cup of tea.

  • but, he doesn't like it, so it's a scam. it's not enough just to not buy it, he has to bitch about it and save the world from this evil, malignant company selling extremely customizable Linux laptops with versatile expansion options.

  • this might be ringing in late, but consider a large USB disk with Ventoy on it. you can just drop multiple ISOs on it, and then select which one you want you boot from right at boot time.

this will give you the ability to easily try multiple distros without too much commitment.
