you can still view the generated codes in the settings app on your devices that are signed into your personal apple ids. not super convenient but possible.
it's a deliberate choice. this way if you change your mind later and reinstall the app, all your settings & data are still there. you could argue that macOS should give you the option, but user choice isn't really Apple's way.
as one of the comments on that post said, even easier is they just call the bank pretending to be you and get them to reset your password. they don't need any of your devices or vaults in that case, just some easily discovered personally identifying info (which was probably leaked in a data breach)
You're posting this on an Apple forum so I have to ask: how is not convenient? If you use iCloud Keychain + Safari everywhere, it's ridiculously convenient. I went through some contortions in order to migrate my Symantec VIP codes to iCloud Keychain just so I could have that sweet code integration.
I've used HTC Vive, Valve Index, Sony PSVR1 & 2 as a glasses wearer.... It's definitely doable but the inserts make the experience a lot nicer. The current VR lens insert market is around $50-100 depending on the vendor and your prescription strength. I'm guessing Apple will charge similarly for theirs.
I'm going to disagree with the other guy. I got the psvr2 at launch and I have been having a blast with it. I did have to work at it a bit though - I wear glasses so the first thing was getting prescription lens inserts. I also bought a comfort kit which adds a velcro top strap and counterweights for the back of the hoop. Once you get it all dialed in though, it's super fun. Resident Evil 8 (Village) was one of the most amazing gaming experiences I've ever had, and I've been gaming since Atari in the 1970s.
VR gaming for sure will be better once these devices are much lighter and smaller, but I still think you can have a lot of fun with it right now.
Same here. Lemmy is rising quickly though, I have no doubt it will be a sufficient Reddit replacement soon enough. I've been using Apple News as my "read over breakfast" app. I already pay for the sub anyway, and once I set it up with a bunch of sources/topics I was interested in, it became a pretty good reading experience.
Oh I can still do it with iCloud passwords, it’s just not as convenient.
