Don't think so. Just normal usage. I wasn't trying to assert that the 3a had some design issue or systemic manufacturing flaw. The port just eventually got kinda loose and any perturbance of the phone or cable would wiggle enough to lose connection.
I could do refurb direct from manufacturer, but I don't think I'd ever go for used. Problem is there just doesn't seem to beany options. Lenovo US only seems to have one model with a cell antenna and it's only LTE. Other than that it's Samsung or an import, which I'd be wary of compatible bands.
True. Though I'd probably go for a new unit without the 5g and just keep tethering my phone hotspot. But like, I can get a $200 Moto phone from Lenovo with wifi and 5G (and 8G RAM), so why can't I get a $300 tablet from them (even with only 4G memory)?
That's kind of the crux of it. I'd prefer Lenovo to be less removed from stock, but they only appear to have a single LTE model and no 5G. And they have soo many different variations on the same model it's so easy to unwittingly buy the crappy version. If you go to android.com/tablets to try and find manufacturers, it's literally just Google and Samsung. But the Samsung Tab A9+ only comes with 5g in the low end model with 4GB of ram.
Not too comfortable, I must admit. More inclined to get a new wifi-only tablet and tether my phone.
I just noticed the Tab A9+ that does have a 5G option appears to only be on the model with 4G of memory. I don't know how big a deal that is. I'm coming from a Lenovo TB-x304f with 2GB of RAM so it'd still be a huge jump up.
They put a shit ton of money into state races, too. Their plan was to get enough state legislatures in their pocket to call a constitutional convention and rewrite the US as an anarcho-capitalist state.
