  • It looks like someone had a good ol' classic "Come to Jesus meeting" in the Oval Office.

What a show that must have been, huh? Who was there? What did they say? You know HitlerPig took a breather after a while, and let the others beat up on him, while he sat back, entertained. That's his move, we saw it with Zelensky.

Maybe let the head of each department give a report on what their agency is doing to attack some arm of his empire. DoJ talks about investigating his drug use, Defense wants to take Starlink, NASA or the Space Force wants Space X, then Pakled Holman and Canine Killer Barbi drop the big immigration bomb at the finish.

By the end he'd be giving HitlerPig a big sloppy knob job in front of the crowd while Epstein films it ( oh, yeah, he's still around, he always brings the girls, or whatever).

  • And the MAGA Nazis can cut off the government money tap, they can crack down on his many corporate and regulatory violations, they can even nationalize his space businesses. He wouldn't have to worry about it if a Dem was in office, they'd NEVER do that (even if they should), but he knows HitlerPig wouldn't hesitate, because they are exactly alike.

  • I was a supporter for a while, but the more I get to know him, the less I like him. He's just another Corporatist Republican-Lite Democrat, and those are the losers that got HitlerPig elected in the first place. If he becomes President, HitlerPig, or someone worse, will be back in office in 2032.

I want the next Democratic president to be an aggressive, no apology, hard core reformer, who isn't afraid to stand up to Sociopathic Oligarchs and Traitors.

  • Not states, most couldn't survive, but America could certainly Balkanize into several separate entities - New England, Midwest, South, Plains States, West Coast, Southwest, etc. some states like Texas and Florida might be able to survive as stand alone economies, but most couldn't.

  • I can buy that. I fully believe that from their beginning, Israel has known that someday they will have to clear out the Palestinians, and Oct 7 provided the excuse for them to finally say "Today's the day."

I also fully believe that they've had that same mindset toward the rest of the Middle East. They know that eventually they will have to settle their differences with their Muslim neighbors, and it won't be with good-faith negotiations. And the Muslim countries have the exact same mindset. It is only a matter of time before they go at each other full force, and this Gaza Genocide does look like a dress rehearsal.

  • I'm not concerned that his health is poor, I'm concerned that his health is good.

MAGA is a cult of personality, there is no #2. He holds100% of the power. When he reaches room temperature, there will be a massive insider battle for control, but it will be for naught. NOBODY will follow anyone but HitlerPig himself.

Instead, MAGA will transition to a religious sect, and literally worship HitlerPig as a God, or at least as a prophet.

  • So much to unpack here.

First of all, when asked, he said "I don't think so." He should have a definitive answer to that question, not some weasely equivocation.

The fact that we aren't supporting a PLACE for them to live as an independent nation, signals that America has embraced the genocide option.

This is entirely about developing a Jewish Dubai, so they don't have to spend their money with Muslims. HitlerPig's Spiritual Advisor has already come out to say that Christians won't be able to enter heaven unless they make a pilgrimage to Israel, the way Muslims make their pilgrimage to Mecca. Of course, for the MAGA Nazis, it's not about spiritual fulfillment, it's about making Christians spend their money in their hotels and restaurants.

  • Two books:

Mark Penn's Microtrends: The Small Forces Behind Tomorrow's Big Changes

Malcolm Gladwell's Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference

I especially like Gladwell's book, and his other books as well. Blink is another favorite of mine. I haven't read Penn's book in a long time, it may be getting a little dated.

  • I came here after being permabanned from Reddit, but I still get posts removed. I recently looked at my Mod Logs for the first time, and was surprised at how many removals I had, some for really stupid stuff that would have gone through at Reddit.

Overall, though, Lemmy is a lot more permissive, especially compared to the new, post- HitlerPig Reddit.
