  • She didn't "uncover" this phenomenon. Mark Penn was the Clinton's pollster, and he published his book Microtrends in 2007. Malcolm Gladwell's Tipping Point was published in 2000. The concept of the "Tipping Point" has been known and studied for a long time. .

  • I have read books by Mark Penn and Malcolm Gladwell, which talk about that magical 3.5% as a "Tipping Point" that can kick off a trend. It's not guaranteed, but historical records indicate that it takes at least 3.5% to reach critical mass.

    In America, that's about 11.5 - 12 million people.

  • With protests going on all over the country, I don't see how ANY count can be accurate. Further, there are many supporters who would never attend a protest. I am one of them. I encourage others to go, but I can participate in other ways, like actively posting on social media.

Add up the protesters, the keyboard warriors, and the many other forms of resistance, and we'll hit the 3.5% mark.

  • I saw this guy on TV, and he was truly perplexed at hearing about his friend's actions, and eventually just broke down. I felt bad for him.

The MAGA Nazi leaders are pure evil, but many of their followers aren't inherently bad, they've just been manipulated by the Conservative Propaganda Machine to think they are saving their country. This guy seemed to suddenly come to that realization.

  • We have truth-in-advertising laws. You can't make claims about a product that isn't true.

Politics is just a product, being sold by a candidate. If that candidate lies about the product they "represent," and the voters rely on those promised lies, the politician should be held responsible for that lie.

For instance, HitlerPig claimed for years that he had a first-rate health care plan that was two weeks away from release. Finally, during his debate with Harris, he admitted that all they had were "concepts" of a plan. Clearly, there was never a plan at all.

Politicians should be held accountable for their deliberate lies.

  • The Nazis did eventually lose, but look what it took to do it. Millions of people died on both sides. The best defense is to not allow them any power, but they already control the most powerful military in the history of the world.

At this point, leaving is a credible option, if you have it. Unfortunately, unless you are wealthy, have a large business, or are incredibly intelligent in a field they want, most of us won't be welcome any where else.

  • There is plenty to condemn this administration over, but this isn't one of them. To say that it glorifies the Russian Flag when they are clearly graphic design marks, with the actual flag right next to it, taking up about 1/3 of the image, is dumb.

Complaining about this is stupid. There are serious issues to focus on.

  • I get that, but Leatherman tools aren't expensive because of their quality, which is excellent, they are expensive because of their brand. There are plenty of equally high quality tools that aren't nearly as expensive. The Wetools knife that I have is a good example. Excellent design and high quality construction for a fraction of the cost.

I appreciate high quality in all things, but I have also learned in life that quality and cost often have little or no correlation. With a little research, I can usually find a tool, or guitar, or audio gear, etc. that is just as good, or even better, than the well-known gourmet brands, at a far cheaper price. Multitools are an excellent example of that.

  • Leatherman tools tend to be extremely expensive. Amazon has a lot of multitool options for far less. I have the one made by Wetools, which used to be about $20, which was a serious bargain, considering how well it was made. Now they are around $35, probably due to tariffs, but they are still a bargain.

  • Wrong. They need to be afraid of us, and enormous opposition crowds help sell it. It also demonstrates to them that no matter how many troops they deploy, there are MILLIONS of people turning out in EVERY major city. They don't have nearly enough troops to put down every demonstration.

It's always good to make them question their own arrogance.

  • The cowardly "officials" cancelled the protests, and 80,000 people proved that they don't listen to spineless Democrats any more than treasonous MAGAs, and showed up anyway.

Craven Democrat politicians need to match the courage of their constituents, or find another job. It's time for Democratic Warriors to step up.

  • I have to say, the size of the No Kings crowds truly surprised me. I knew they'd be big, but these were HUGE!

HitlerPig is obsessed by ratings, polls, popularity, etc. The size of those crowds, in EVERY major city in America, must have scared the bejeezus out of him. The problem with that is that a shallow thinker like him can only conceive of a few responses, and ferocious violence is probably the first option that comes to his empty mind.

  • Actually, I have considered that, wanting to avoid being the same kind of victim of partisan propaganda as stupid Conservatives. This is especially important to me, as I have been an Unaffiliated Independent since first registering to vote in 1977. It important to me to not succumb to the propaganda of either side.

My self-reflection has determined to my personal satisfaction that I am not shrill, I'm not an alarmist, and I'm not a commie. I have a history degree, 30 years of professional experience, and have closely watched the rise of extremist Conservatism since the mid-80s, so I am very comfortable offering my opinions with confidence. I don't worry about acceptance from MAGA Nazi Traitors. I couldn't care less about their treasonous, shallow, ignorant, violent, political opinions.

My education, knowledge, and experience has led me to believe that we are facing a divide in America as bad as the Civil War, and very possibly worse. The MAGAs are clearly taking their strategies from the Nazi Germany Playbook, and want to murder vast swathes of Americans. To recognize and warn others about it is not shrill, alarmist, or "commie," and it is not lost on me that you are attempting to shame me into silence.

It won't work. Indies like me aren't afraid in the least of Cowardly Nazi Traitors like you. We know what you are up to, and we will stop you.

  • Have you seen the videos of the No Kings demonstrations around the country? They were enormous! Not only were they far larger than I expected, they were MANY times larger than I expected.

The MAGA Nazis can try to suppress those crowds, but no matter what the outcome, they will lose. This isn't pre-Internet Tiananmen Square, where the government can simply deny it happened. The entire planet will know.

If they fire on American protesters, no matter the justification, the MAGA Nazis government will make enemies of every Democratic nation in the world.

  • Right after Covid ended, the nurses in the NYC hospitals decided that after being so heroic for over a year, they deserved raises, and some other benefits. The hospitals flat-out refused anything.

The nurses went on strike. Within 72 hours, every single one of their demands was met, including a fat raise.

    Unions and strikes work.
