It's great! I ran Mycroft for years and this is such a better experience overall. I really love the ability to create custom sentences to trigger whatever. There are features I'm still hoping for like some kind of reminder things so I can finally drop google assistant for good. This is a great product for enthusiasts and signals even better products in the future as the ecosystem matures. It's a good time to be interested in voice assistants.

The reason we keep seeing this is because it's a basic loyalty test for Team Trump. Trump (and company) made the great lie and if you want to be seen as team player than you need to back it too. Gang tactics 101.

Yakuake for life baby, it's the best, fully customizable, some really beautiful presets out there. My sweet spot is full screen but with 70ish percent opacity so I can read what's behind it. Pull up your tutorial or walkthrough or whatever in a browser, hit f12 and goooooo.

If you liked this definitely checkout some of his other videos. At the level of work that he does you have to have a really solid model of reality and a lot of learned experience of how to measure and manipulate at extreme scales. He makes it look easy but this kind of thing really isn't. Just a lot of fun seeing such a talented and educated person do a really neat demonstration.

I love that the wakeword is still one of the best we have, my kid will ask me one day why we say "hey Mycroft" and I'll tell him "it all started with a raspberry pi and a Kickstarter"

I'm so excited for this! I was able to make an order. Homeassistant is making such a difference here. I was a Mycroft supporter and it's so great that since they've gone away we've still got hardware in this space. This hardware makes so much sense too, I hope the voice train keeps rolling!
