  • Holy shit! I Haven't watched that movie in years!!

Pretty sure I had the same thought I'm having now when I first watched that scene, those shoes would now been making her feet sit at some wild angles.

  • This show is about doctors in a "jungle", so them touching everything is extra hilarious! Especially since in the first episode one of the conventionally pretty doctors goes "oh I specialise in infectious diseases".

Edit - a word. I can assure you the tv doctors are not juggling.

  • Watching some telly before I get a little rowdy tonight, and one of my favourite costuming tropes is when a character out of their depth goes to the tropics/a hot place (it doesnt matter what they're there for) they must have a huge hiking pack paired with some sort of plaid shirt and singlet, for men you can throw in a henley, for women it must be a skin tight spaghetti strap singlet.

Bonus points for inappropriate footwear, khaki cargo shorts (cargo booty shorts of the ladies), some sort of head wrap, they gain a collection of "handcrafted" bracelets during their tropical/hot place adventure.

  • Eucalyptus Goat Soap is what's got me buying stupid amounts of soap.

  • Not even remotely embarrassed to say I bought an ungodly amount of soap because it was on sale and the scent is a limited run. It just smells so fkn good, and the little bits in it that make it abrasive are doing wonders for my chest eczema.

  • Post full on work day chippies acquired, time to finish watching Hannibal with the housemate. Kinda bummed to be finishing it, it's hands down one of my favourite shows, it's just a feast visually.

  • Bit of set back, just found out the fun little procedure I had 10mths ago has done nothing and may in fact have made things worse (small reversal will fix that). Doc is very surprised at the results, so it's on for more tests and looking at what else can be done that's not removing that whole area of my person.

Feels bad man, but hopefully we can move onto better things soon.

  • Kept dreaming about religious iconography and a white hippo, so I'll be starting my very own cult any day now.

  • While not my thing, mostly due to the lack of trains and onboard amenities, I can see how it'd be a fun little adventure.

Not going lie, if you did do the trip I'd read a write up of your journey and how it went.

  • As someone who frequently caught the Tilt Train in QLD before moving here and had an alright time, I'm kind of curious as to what the route actually entails. Are there any swap overs, is there a decent stretch to get some sleep since it's a 22hr journey, are there sleeper cars, and what about food options/amenities?

  • Coming to the end of my Wondefalls rewatch, and Fox really did invent the "fucking with a good show for no reason" model.

Also Caroline Dhavernas only being in like three good shows (Wonderfalls, Hannibal, Mary Kills People) will never not be a travesty, I'm always so drawn into whoever she's playing when I watch her in something.

  • I've only seen that brand looking at awnings, looks like pretty nice swag though. Clark rubber thing was basically what my mate did, only he cut it down to size himself.

  • What swag do you have? So many come with shitty inch thick mats. One of my camping buddies got a bit of foam and cut it to size, swags bulky as shit now, but he seems to sleep like a rock in it.

  • As a frequent swag user, 11/10 recommend investing in a stretcher to pop under it, changed the swag game for me.

  • Suddenly find myself alone for the evening, so now I'm thinking of inviting the six pack in my fridge to my Wonderfalls rewatch marathon.

  • Note to self, inform kitten of mandoline purchase

  • Oh I come from a hospo background, I have seen first hand the carnage they can do.

  • Need to buy a mandoline, need to buy a mandoline. NEED TO BUY A MANDOLINE!!

Julienning (is that a word?) my third mango and I want to fucking die, so annoyingly slippery. I mean, I don't actually mind having to julienne things because it's pretty simple, but when it's multiple things that are a bit cumbersome to grip it's a huge pain.
