Economic struggles, housing prices escalating out of reach, healthcare collapse, and climate catastrophe. People are angry and scared, and angry scared people don't think clearly. Simple answers blaming immigrants or whatever scapegoat of the moment are comforting. It's happening in nearly every country on earth now.This is Fascism 101.
