Not sure how I implied that, but it was not my intention. To reiterate, you can rank anywhere between 0-5 candidates. Considering that there are 11 candidates on the ballot, plus write in, you could rank 5 candidates easily without ranking Cuomo. There's no need to vote for him at all.

You can rank up to 5 for a valid ballot, so you can pick anywhere between 0-5 candidates. What the person who you originally commented to was saying was that in the 2021 election, many people voted as if this is first pass the post, and only ranked a single candidate with no backups. When that candidate didn't get a majority, there were no choices for 2-5, and that's how Adams got the votes.

The NYC mayoral race is Ranked Choice Voting.

Agreed, didn't mean to question the legitimacy or integrity on whomever put together this poll, it's just that the average person does not understand the polls and puts too much weight into their relevancy. For us voters, polls have very little value (other than keeping the election top of mind). For the campaigns and the candidates, the polls can sway how they get their messaging out, but when the media reports on how well a candidate is doing in the polls, it's really just to fill time and get clicks. At best, it may encourage people whose candidate is not doing well to get the word out, but at worst, it can result in people sitting out the election because they think their candidate is a shoe in.

Never trust the polls. If you are in NYC and haven't voted yet, do not trust the polls, you need to go out and vote tomorrow.

Honestly, regardless of their education and experience, if you have this concern about a person, you should get a new roommate, assuming there's more to your question than just a hypothetical.

All the time, there are shitty significant others who install a keylogger or screen recorder to monitor their spouse, because they're fucked up. A lot of the time, they don't have any technical background, and are the equivalent of script kiddies. They do this because they're shitty people, not because they have a degree in computer science.

I also have the free account, and I never touched the budgets section. In here, GitHub action budget is set to $0 and has Stop usage enabled.

If these settings are set to $0 and you got charged, then I guess you can open up a case support case, since that seems like a bug.

I think I read somewhere that this would be the default for new instances if they don't have one of their own. On an existing instance, the server admin would have to remove the existing license which would then load this license. So this could affect more than just mastodon.social.

I have good memories of LAN parties playing a game called DEFCON which is basically the Thermonuclear War game from the 80s movie Wargames. The game itself is fairly basic but was a blast to play with a group and I am a sucker for the retro vector atheistics.

This is the correct answer. The only thing I would add is some devices don't allow changing the DNS IPs and are hard coded to 8.8.8.8 so Google blocking sites via DNS is still an issue. Of course you could intercept these requests, but with DNS over HTTPS becoming more popular, i would imagine that device manufactures will also start to do certificate pinning as well to prevent people from using their own DNS server.
