  • I mean understand and know when or how to use every feature and command, I don't mean using git clone https://github.com/foo/bar occasionally.

  • You can selfhost VSCode. I don't think there are any other good selfhostable IDEs that work with C#. I assume you could host VSCodium, but that's annoying to setup optimally for C#.

  • That's a lot of code, I'd expect the 12 lines in the README.

  • I refuse to believe that anyone other than Linus knows how to use git.

  • I recently found https://github-wiki-see.page (Source) for wikis. It has the contents of the wikis with basic formatting, so it works, but it's not made to be a frontend.

  • My hardware isn't supported

  • Iirc Sync and Boost are the only proprietary clients right now, so everything else is good. I'm using Eternity right now, it's on f droid

  • zsh: command not found: $eat

  • Might be worth hosting Gitea/Forgejo

  • I don't think Debian is good for beginners.

  • I really started with Pop!_OS in early April of last year after watching a dual boot setup guide from LTT. I'm currently on Gentoo, tho I prefer Arch.

  • I put that there to make clear that I don't care at all if software I use (important or not) isn't maintained.

  • Why would I be kidding? /genq
