This is actually something I've discussed with my wife and we came to the conclusion that we only buy/build a house if we find the right one or the right spot. For me it just wouldn't work to own a house just for the sake of it because a house has to last and since we live in an awesome flat in the center of Bonn there is no need to rush for us, except a baby but then we just would find a bigger flat for us.

Why not? It fucking sucks and is against human rights, everywhere it happens. And it's quite a stark contrast for the UAE to behave like this great, modern society and still have this kind of dark age laws...
And that's a big reason for me to avoid such archaic countries in general.
I really like it and since there are no Icons or compass it's really not that type of game. I have the impression that most of the people just repeat the nonsense they heard somewhere.
Yes they are outpost but you don't have to clear them like in FarCry, you can simply follow the story or some some nice written side quests or just explore the world on your ikran. The traversal through the world is amazing and really well done by massive and on top of that you have an unobtrusive gear and skill system for your character.
So overall the game is really good and gets really amazing if you're a fan of the movies or the world.
oh fuck me...can maybe the greek or the people from estonia make first contact with an alien race and not some communist country like china or russia, so that they do not think were total dipshits right from the get go?
still Avatar and since I got Alan Wake 2 in the Epic sale I started to replay the original. The free remaster you got with Alan Wake 2 unfortunately has some nasty visual bugs on amd hardware and too often shatters my immersion with glitches and black screens, but since it only ups the assets I'm fine with the original which is still an awesome looking game and perfectly playable in 2023.
I feel you. My mom is a nurse, people like her deserve a shitload of money and not the people who are pushing pixels...but it's the world we live and and we can always try to give back.
A month later they needed some UI designs so the CEO came with an urgent task to my team and I told him to fuck off and leave my team alone and that he should ask chat gpt for some designs...
with AI on the rise of course they do. In our sister company they now axed the whole marketing department and introduced their stupid idea to do everything with ai...
so what? Farmers farm and designers design and talk about design...just pick the job you want to do. Should I now feel bad that I'm a visual designer instead of a farmer ?
