  • You say you understand why Ukrainians call ALL Russians orcs (not just the military invading them, or just the Russian government, ALL Russians). You say you understand why Ukraine would generalize the entire ethnicity of the country that's invading them.

How is that different from what we did to Japanese Americans? (Also you might want to look into how the Russian ethnic minority has been treated in Ukraine)

  • Tell me one thing Hitlers regime did that Putins regime hasn't done

    The Holocaust.

Russians are almost just like (thankfully) dumb

Generalizing Russians and instead of Putin's regime AND calling them stupid. Not racist at all.

  • I get the feeling you're a decently well intentioned person, but there have definitely been liberal and racist comments coming from your comm. I don't think its wrong to point that out, but sorry you got boxed in if thats not you.

  • To be fair though, I get the feeling this person is just naive and decently well intentioned. I get your frustration and lack of patience though. But

And no, libs are just like smug right wingers that don't know they're right wing, where centrists are just dumbasses who think they're smarter then everyone while repeating reactionary bullshit

Is a pretty good thing to say lol.

  • I promise most of us are nice people and fairly easy to get along with. We're just very... tired of certain narratives and ideas and dont have much patience for them. I honestly think some of my comrades can do a bit better at remembering the human here, but its also understandable why they dont have patience for certain things.

  • I wonder why a website that has been taken over by corporations (it was pretty much always corporate, but I agree its gotten worse) would aggressively silence communists, I also wonder if they would perhaps promote certain narratives about the enemies of the west. I also wonder why someone who is anti-corporate would support that.

Believe it or not, I really want our communities to get along because Hexbear is aggressively pro-trans.

  • Question for you, why would the destabilization of the US be a bad thing? For me it would be an objectively good thing considering all the evil in this world it has wrought. While I will continue to deny that I'm a paid shill for China and ESPECIALLY Russia, I won't deny that the end of western neoliberal hegemony is a desirable goal for me.

  • Damn, I really had faith you were well intentioned. I'm disappointed.

Honestly I don't even know why you're here if you're so happy with Reddit's moderation policies.

  • Ah damn, I misplaced my faith.

  • That'd be nice. Unfortunately the bourgeoise have class solidarity with each other and not with us, they will prevent change from happening peacefully.

  • Damn this was actually successful. Nice work.

  • Hey! The guy in the red tie and the guy in the blue tie disagree slightly on one issue! The ability to decide between them is true freedom!

  • No see you're allowed to decide if the guy with the blue tie or the guy with the red tie is your representative (uh... if you live in one of the handful of districts that are competitive anyway) so that means it cant be authoritarian. God I love our illusion of democracy. It makes me feel so nice.

  • (like MAGA, big surprise)

You understand the fact that the content of the dunks, and what we're dunking ON, being different materially matters right? That just the mere fact that we both dislike liberalism doesn't make us the same when we dislike it for entirely different reasons?

Like, even on the few points where we agree, its almost always different reasons and logic behind taking those positions.

  • What can I say, I've seen a disproportional amount of racism and liberalism coming from your instance. I hate generalizations too, but neutrality isn't actually a good thing anyway. Because centrism IS a political stance and IS a racist one. Taking a stand for whats right is good.

  • I think you should be more judicious about who you're dunking on tbh. This person seems well intentioned enough.

    ETA: I take this back.

  • They said elsewhere that they're autistic. The need to be exact and truthful when people generalize something like a community is something i identify with. Its why I dont really love the stormfront joke myself, just go along with it for community peace. This person to me is clearly well intentioned and is an example of the dunk impulse going too far because I think they're trying to do right.

ETA: Actually I got them mixed up with another user they never said they were autistic. But I still think they are well intentioned.

  • OK what is and isn't propaganda aside, can you explain how merely saying "I'm a tankie" is "posting propaganda"?
