I don't know, I think that might be overstating it a bit. Even the highest cost 8GB Pi 4 model tops out at $75 without accessories but I can only find 2 listings on Ebay at the moment for MFF PCs that can beat that price, also without accessories.
It's a bit weird. Only Kbin has the functionality built in to see who is giving upvotes or downvotes. The information is technically public on Lemmy too because of how federation works, there's just no way to see it in the web UI or apps.
There's a problem though. Downvotes don't federate between Lemmy and Kbin, so we can only ever see downvotes from other Kbin users here. If someone on Lemmy downvotes something, I'd never even see the count change and wouldn't be able to see who did it.
Edit: from my view, no comments in this thread have any downvotes.
It's not bad, just more expensive and more powerful, so it would be overkill for certain projects. If you want a cheaper or smaller (but less powerful) option, you'd have to get it from somewhere else.
If you want to use it for emulating games for example, you'd probably want the best performance you can get. If you're just making a digital picture frame though, you don't need to spend the extra money for a Pi 4 and can get away with the cheaper models.
I'd recommend looking up what you want to do and seeing what model Pi other people have used. I use a Pi 3 to control my 3D printer, which isn't too demanding of a task for it.
Oh man I didn't realize he resigned over this. I guess it's the kind of egg on your face mistake a political career can't really recover from though...
I don't know if things have changed, but I used to just be able to copy and paste files to the Kindle from File Explorer. Windows would mount it like a phone and you'd get access to the internal storage. I don't think they would have removed that ability.
It's so much fun, I legitimately enjoyed it more than the last few Pokémon games. I haven't enjoyed a monster collecting game that much since Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Highly recommend it.
