In my opinion : The money is MUCH more lucrative now because of data mining. That's it. That's the real product being sold and because it isn't encouraging innovation for innovation's sake, but for a bottom line or goal that almost certainly depends on features that gather ad much data as possible to sell... etc etc

Oh my gosh do you remember the name of a show they had in roughly 05-10i era that was just featuring prototypes for future technology?

I remember it featuring robotic exoskeleton, something that I'm pretty sure was Kevlar or at least functions very similarly, a sidewalk that can generate power from people walking on it. I even think it featured an "invisibility cloak" so basically a mix of practicality and stages of development. It was fun. I feel like there were a lot of shows about futuristic stuff then on those channels (discovery package basically if u know u know) right before reality suffocated it. And I can't find anything about them and they aren't ever mentioned.

Ok you called me out on a very specific flaw and consistent failure of mine! I have some weird wrong pronunciations they can lead then to wrong spelling and it has nothing to do with misunderstanding the context or whatever and just... my brain tends to read the shape of a word and that leads to problems if it isn't a word I hear often.

Thank you so much! I will just dive into that after I finish my current game and not worry about needing established lore or backstop. Just started a quickie and unique game called Get even. Gameplay is kinda like the detective line of Detroit become human. Enjoying it so far.

I am earnest. I don't read them but I remember my youth having media I liked that makes me cringe now. It's insulting the audience for enjoying something that is unfair.

Be as critical of the art and artists as you want. It is really elitist and mean to insult someone for enjoying it. Which IS what your first post did.

You can disagree that people should really only like work that is worthy, or artists that are worthy. That's your hill.

My memory is lots of "wells" that go deeper and bonds that are stronger and orgasms that are brighter than she previously thought possible every single time and SOOO much my mate stuff. Reading is something for everyone and anyone to enjoy. while a piece of art could have technical flaws and shortcomings, if someone enjoys it GREAT. We all like liking things. Don't shame them for liking something just because it makes you feel more well read.

I disagree strongly. He lost a lot of support but he did not lose support on this level, with this tone. It's like the ones who were scared to say a single critical word are now scared to say a single supportive word. He is a political leper

When he lost 2020 and fucked up his image beyond repair. The insurrection and being twice impeached and losing court case after court case both with the election fruad, stormy daniels, and all other smaller charges that I may not know or recall. He is losing face and he was abandoned by the family. I truly believe he lost the support of religious/evangical leaders and that's the big reason attitudes are changing.

Of course this is all opinion and based on my experiences and how I perceive them. I wonder though if anyone else has had ties to people who consumed like... Christian media and what sort of changes they have seen in attitudes toward trump this year vs last year.

Okay I'm starting to really believe that trump was a puppet carefully managed since the 2016 election that slowly fell apart as he actually got power and became president and fired literally everyone who didn't lick his boots. Seriously almost forgot how almost all of the news for like a year was like, some tweets and trump fires someone or attacks them (the latter never stops) I digress

He is so clearly floundering for the first time. This fucker has never had bad press until now. He isn't different or anything, just suddenly some people are realizing and agree the emperor isn't wearing clothes. That cost him so much powerful support. I speculate the evangical Republicans, who are still a major contribution to conservative politics today, are withdrawing their resources and efforts this election cycle to regroup and plan how to handle the next 2 years to the best of their advantage.
