They don't give a shit about down ballot. Down ballot doesn't matter when you control all three branches of government, imprison or kill all your enemies, and replace the entire federal beauracracy with toadies.

They don't care about consequences because they do not intend to suffer them.

I wouldn't say graphics have zero bearing for sales but the scales have definitely tipped towards gameplay over the last several years. Minecraft added rtx graphics and the mass majority of people, even with rtx capable cards, just yawned.

I could work two hours a day and still get all my tasks done. I could do that, go to my next job, and do another two hours of work and double my income.
