  • Look, you don't have to lie to yourself anymore.

    This is called projection.

  • There are about 44 Hydrogen fueling stations in the USA right now. Every home and parking structure damn near has at least a power outlet.

Today you can do a cross county road trip with an EV. You can not do that with a Fuel Cell. I don't see that changing. Batteries are just more convenient.

  • Right now EVs can be charged at home with power they can generate themselves via solar panels. How is going back to a gas station a better and more convenient solution? Also, you think battery tech will never evolve?

  • Back in my day we all we had was Frozen Bubble and that was good enough.

  • The button on my stylus. I'm trying to draw and this menu pops up.

  • That's a Walmart thing. They wanted to compete with Apple over contactless payments thing and Walmart invested in tech that uses QR codes. No one ever partnered with Walmart so they now use their QR payment tech in house.

  • The jpg format is like 30 years old. Newer formats like jxl, webp, and avif offer much better compression. Right now it looks like webp is the most compatible with browsers so far.

  • Sometimes it helps to have a visual aide for what you're doing. CLI/TUI apps are often faster, or when accessing remotely, lower bandwidth.

    Also, let people enjoy thing.

  • I think they mean that it's costing companies a lot of money to operate but their returns aren't high enough to justify the costs.

  • Yup. Should work fine. I know some people use this to get Divinci Resolve to work on Ubuntu.

  • Nothing Distrobox can't fix. I can run AUR, RPM, and even those deb files that only run on Ubuntu for some damn reason on my Debiain system.

It's probably already in your default repos too.

  • "We'll shut down your computer after this quick message from our sponsor!"

  • If you gave a shit about people with mobility issues you'd know how dumb that statement is.

  • Human Beans.

  • Maybe it's a bad idea for the government to completely shutdown a private business?

Maybe it's because of the first amendment violations the government silencing a social network would entail.

Maybe it's because we are attempting to be a democracy and have due process available to all entities that operate within the United States?

    Just a thought.
